Each woman that graduates from the New Beginnings Program receives:
* a certificate stating that they have completed the program
* a weaned baby cockatiel
* a cage
* toys
* 5 1bs of seed
* a hatch certificate for their baby bird
The sale of baby cockatiels is how income is generated to maintain the program. As more women graduate from the program and receive a free bird along with the necessary accessories the smaller the income will be from the sale of hand fed baby cockatiels. This means that income is needed from other sources.
Your help is needed and the following lists ways in which you can help:
* a financial donation
* a donation of needed items:
* cages
* perches
* seed dishes
* pine shavings
* glass aquariums
* new heating pads
* toy making supplies
*if you purchase a baby cockatiel for yourself the money will go towards the operation of the program
*sponsor one of the women in the program and purchase a baby bird from New Beginnings Aviary and a cage for her.
